While Salesforce Sales Cloud does not offer native functionality to add or import data from business cards, there's a variety of applications available that offer this capability.
Here's an easy way to scan business cards with your phone, extract the data, and create a new lead or contact in CRM. With our Salesforce business card scanner!
Open the Zero Keyboard app and click the New Lead shortcut.
Center the business card in the camera view and press the shutter button to take an image.
Check the automatic cropping, and adjust if you like. Click Validate to continue.
Validate that all the information is correct, and fill in any custom fields that might be required. Click Next to continue.
Step 5: (Optional)
Write or add notes with Speech-to-Text to be added as a memo to the new lead or contact. Click Next to continue.
You can watch as the information is synched with Salesforce, or press Skip the Wait to continue using Zero Keyboard while synching.
